Working, an escape from mummy life or a chore?

Working, an escape from mummy life or a chore?

So I've recently returned to work, a new job may I add I haven't worked since December 2009. I had my daughter back in may 2012 and by around November time I was itching to get out the house and work again. Now don't get me wrong I didn't need to and I wasn't really trying hard to get a job it just kind of happened.
My husband is fantastic he didn't pressure me to go out and work he works full time and we get by, but a bit of extra money always comes in handy especially with 3 children.
My reasons for going back out to the world of work were mainly for my own sanity, it's nice to get out of the house and meet and talk to new people, my job is in customer retail so I meet all types of people, helping them gives me a great sense of fulfilment..... That sounds kinda lame but its true.
We've all had at some point absolutely horrendous sales assistants or a bad experience, and I try my best to help and advise people as appropriate.
I'm really enjoying working and juggling home life but forward planning is definitely a must!
I am a mummy, a wife, a homemaker but also I am me, Mel and I'm now a work colleague.
Since going out to work again I've felt more motivated, less stressed and I have more to talk to my better half about, that's not baby child related.
