Bugaboo This seasons shades. New Colours, New chassis Options 2014

Its no secret that Bugaboo is one of my favorite pushchair brands, I have been beyond desperate to know what they have in store for spring summer 14.
As with most exciting launches and releases its always good to have your ear to the ground and keep up with the old rumor mill that keeps on churning!
For a while now there has been speculation about all black chassis for the Buffalo, extendable hoods for the Donkey and Cameleon.
So this morning a press release dropped into my inbox and here's what Bugaboo had to say......

"This spring Bugaboo’s at no loss for soft, vivid tones to brighten up your pushchair. Introducing
two new shades of pink and blue, the mobility brand continues to strike a perfect balance between
timeless and trendy colours. What’s more, you can now choose between a black or aluminum
chassis to match your tailored fabric set. Freedom of choice just became even better."

"Picking a shade for your pushchair is key. That’s why Bugaboo continuously adds new colours to
its palette, making sure there’s always that perfect one for you. ‘Soft Pink’ and ‘Ice Blue’ are both
bright and classically toned shades giving pushchairs a luxurious and decadent feel. Dark Khaki,
Navy and Petrol Blue deepen the colour scope ensuring a broad and timeless range. Bugaboo
accessories like the footmuff, seat liner, parasol, breezy sun canopy and Bugaboo bag are
available in matching colours to fit the new tailored fabric sets perfectly."

Bugaboo are also rolling out the Buffalo's extendable canopy for both the Donkey and the Cameleon3 they will permanently replace the existing sun canopies. Great news for both Donkey and Cameleon owners! They of course will be available in the new colours come April 2014.

I must admit I am pretty disappointed with the new colours and I was hoping for something new, something special, that made me say WOW!
I feel the soft pink is very much like the limited edition that Bugaboo released back in 2011 that Victoria Beckham had on her Bee+ for Harper. I'm hoping that when I see them in the flesh that my mind soon changes.

Out with the Old
There is also speculation that Bugaboo are phasing out some of the current favourites. This includes hot pink, royal blue and sand for the the Bugaboo Cameleon & Donkey.
Pink is also rumored to be soon phased out for the Buffalo.
Sand bases are going for the Cameleon, Donkey and Buffalo, along with the dark brown base for the Bugaboo Cameleon, and the dark brown seat liner.
How much of this is true I don't know,  I am yet to confirm as of this going to press but as soon as I have an official response from Bugaboo I will let you know.
I'm hoping that Pink is here to stay for the Buffalo but with the new soft pink on the horizon could this be the is this the end for the current shade?
